The Yves Skirt in Black

The Yves skirt by Suzy D takes a simple black skirt and gives it a much more interesting shape.

Designed with a wide waistband and soft pleating through the front, it falls into a relaxed midi silhouette before gathering gently at the hem, creating that lovely rounded shape.

The waistband keeps it looking clean and streamlined at the top, while the fuller lower half gives it movement without feeling fussy. There's also a little stretch in the fabric, so although it has a more directional look, it's still an easy and comfortable piece to wear.

Black makes the Yves particularly versatile. Keep it simple with a cream or white knit and boots, wear it with a blouse and jacket when you want something a little smarter, or add colour through the top half and let the skirt do the rest. It's a grest alternative when you want the ease of a black midi skirt but don't necessarily want a conventional one.
